The Best of Egypt & Jordan

Egypt and Jordan tour package, starting in Cairo to visit the great Giza Pyramids, and Islamic Cairo, transferred south for enjoying a 4-day Nile cruise before flight to Sharm El Sheikh to relax and explore, finally at the end of the trip you will spend three days in Jordan to see the legendary “rose-red city” of Petra and other sights.

 

 

Itinerary:

Day 1:Arrival Cairo & Welcome Drink

Egypt last minute representative will wait you at Cairo International Airport for assisting you upon arrival, after that you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by A/C for check in and give you all detailed information concerning your next day’s trip. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2:Pyramids Tour & Breakfast, Lunch

Early pick you up after breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, then meet your personal guide who will take you to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus – Famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue, in addition to visit the Solar Boat in front of Cheops Pyramid (optional), then having your lunch during the tour, then head to Sakkara area to visit Sakkara Complex and first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid), after that proceed to Memphis, Old kingdom’s capital and famous Necropolis. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 3:Cairo Tours, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Early morning after breakfast and check-out you will be accompanied by your private guide to visit: Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts, in additional to visit the mummies room at the museum (Optinal). Lunch will be served at local restaurant, then proceed to visit Saladin Citadel including Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque inside, Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue, then move to do shopping in a lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which dates back to 1382.

Finally, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the Sleeper Train to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board – overnight inside your cabin at sleeper train.

Day 4:Arrival Aswan & Breakfast

Arrival Aswan train station at 11:00 am, then proceed to visiting the world famous High Dam, The awesome Philae temple, which is attributed to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, then having lunsh and heading to the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk.  Overnight in Aswan.

Day 5:Abu Simbel Tour / Nile Cruise & Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Check-out hotel after breakfast, then at 03:30 am start your tour to Abu Simbel Temples. It takes about a 3 hour and half drive one way from Aswan to Abu Simbel by A/C.
Upon arrival at Abu Simbel, you will enjoy the legendary Temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, which is devoted to the four universal gods Ptah, Re-Harakhte, Amun-Re, and to Ramesses II, then having lunch during transferring to embark your Nile River Cruise, overnight on board.

Day 6:Kom Ombo / Edfu & Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Early morning cruise to Kom Ombo after breakfast on board and visit the Temple of two gods Sobek & Haeroris in Kom Ombo, lunch on board during Sailing to Edfu, after that Visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, Horus Temple in Edfu, afternoon taken tea during sailing to Esna, dinner and overnight on board.

Day 7: Luxor Sightseeing & Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner  

Breakfast on board then sail to Luxor and visiting the West Bank,  take a tour to the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, then to mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was dedicated to the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC , at El-Deir El-Bahari & the Colossi of Memnon, having Lunch on board and Enjoying afternoon tea during sailing, dinner on board, overnight in Luxor.

Day 8:Luxor Sightseeing & Breakfast

Breakfasts on board, then disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast at 08:00 am, then transfer to visit Karnak & Luxor temples, and then you will be transferred to Luxor airport for flight to Sharm El Sheikh. Most flights are indirect flight via Cairo Airport. Upon arrival in Sharm, transfer to your hotel for free time at leisure, overnight in Sharm El Sheikh.

 Day 9: Ras mohamed & Breakfast, Lunch   

Breakfast, then transfer to Ras Mohamed National Park for snorkeling / a fantastic day out to the Red Sea underwater Marin life, then move back to the your hotel in Sharm el sheikh free time at leisure in Sharm El Sheikh, overnight at your hotel.

Day 10:Sharm El Sheikh & Breakfast

Free day at leisure in Sharm or you can join our (optional tour) to the Monastery of St. Catherine located at the heart of Sinai and at the foot of the Gebel Musa, or Mount Moses, the monastery is owned and run by the Greek Orthodox Church, its rich library houses the world’s second largest collection of illuminated manuscripts after the Vatican, so you can see a large number of antique works of art, beautifully carved doors, amazing wall paintings.

Day 11:Sharm to Amman & Breakfast

Breakfast at your hotel, then you will be transferred to Sharm International Airport for flight to Amman, upon arrival you will find our representative will meet & assist you at Amman International Airport, after that you will be transferred to your hotel in Amman by A/C for check in, and give you detailed information about your next trips, Overnight in Amman.

Day 12:Madaba / Dead Sea & Breakfast, Lunch

Breakfast, then drive to Mt. Nebo, the place where Prophet Moses stared at the promised land before he died and the alleged burial place, tour to visit the old monastery and overlook the Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, Jericho and Jerusalem, After  that you will proceed to Madaba, where to find the famous mosaic 6th century map of Palestine in St. George’s church, then move to the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea, where you have leisure time and the chance to float on water, overnight Amman hotel.

Day 13:Petra Tour& Breakfast, Lunch

Breakfast, then drive 2.5 hours to the rose red city Petra, where is the biggest attraction of Jordan, it was first established around the 6th century B.C. by the Nabataean Arabs, upon arrival Petra you will start your tour on horse back to the canyon, the so called Siq, and then by foot to the most beautiful monument(the Treasury), between other monuments you will see are the Street of Facades, the Royal tombs and Pharaoh”s citadel, then back to hotel in Amman for overnight.

Day 14: Final Departure& Breakfast

Breakfast, then transfer to QAI Airport for departure back to your home.
