The Orient Dahabiya is depend on an original design of Dahabiya from the late 19th century and early 18. This traditional duality valid boat about 37M long-range 7M and two decks. It is powered by wind Dahabiya. based on on river currents and a pleasant breeze, this is the traditional way to cruise the Nile. By tug from the river a little help if the natural elements fail.

Itineraries:

5 Days – Esna / Aswan Every Saturday

Day 1: Saturday
Embarkation from Luxor for a 5-day cruise along the Nile between Esna and Aswan, then Cruise to El Kab, the ancient town of Nekheb, where is the oldest significant archaeological sites on the Nile, then having lunch on board during sailing to Esna. overnight on board.

Day 2: Sunday
Breakfast, then sail to Edfu and visit the temple of Horus, after that cruise to a small island where the boat will take you to small villages and the desert, having dinner on board the Dahabiya, overnight on board.

Day 3: Monday
Start sailing to Gebel el Silsila and discover the ancient sandstone quarries and rock-cut chapels of Horemheb, Seti I, Ramesses II and Merenptah, then head to the double temple of Haroeris and Sobek in Kom Ombo, continue sailing to the island of Maniha, dinner on board the Dahabiya between the banks of the Nile, overnight on board.

Day 4: Tuesday
Early morning sailing to Daraw where walking tour to the village to visit the markets of Daraw, then the last stop on the famous 40-day desert road between Sudan and Egypt, continue Sailing to the Nubian village of El Koubania near Aswan, overnight on cruise.

Day 5: Wednesday
Breakfast on board and disembarkation.

4 Days – Aswan / Esna Every Wednesday

Day 1: Wednesday
Our representative will meet and assist you for embarkation on the Dahabiya for a 3-day cruise along the Nile between Aswan and Esna, where you will sail to a small Nile island, having lunch on board or on the island, then continue sailing to visit Kom Ombo (temple of Sobek and Haroeris), then proceed to Gebel el-Silsila, overnight on board.

Day 2: Thursday
Early morning after breakfast you will visit the rock-cut chapels of Horemheb, Seti I, Ramses II and Merenptah and explore the sandstone quarries at Gebel el-Silsila, then head to  visit Edfu temple where you can visit the temple of Horus, after that you will moving to a small island where you will enjoy dinner on board the Dahabiya and a campfire on the banks of the Nile, overnight on board.

Day 3: Friday
Breakfast then Cruise to El Kab, the ancient town of Nekheb, where is the oldest significant archaeological sites on the Nile, then having lunch on board during sailing to Esna. overnight on board.

Day 4: Saturday
Breakfast on board and disembarkation.
